New Diocesan Reader licensed in Cork, Cloyne and Ross

On Sunday, 4th June 2023, the Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, the Right Reverend Dr Paul Colton, licensed Karl Tyrell to the Office of Reader. The licensing took place at St Peter’s Church, Carrigrohane Union of Parishes.

Karl commented:

Trinity Sunday was a very special occasion for me. It is great to be able to contribute to services in the Church of Ireland. So far I have encountered many wonderful people in various parishes and congregations. I look forward to serving the diocese as a lay reader.
