Second round of Confirmations in Cork, Cloyne and Ross

Since Easter 2022 there have been seven more confirmations in Cork, Cloyne and Ross. As part of a week-long series of pastoral visits to mid-West Cork, Bishop Paul Colton visited Kinneigh Union and Fanlobbus Union on Sunday, 24th April for two confirmation services that day. Three young people were confirmed in Kinneigh Union of Parishes and eight in Fanlobbus Union of Parishes. At the end of the week, on Sunday, 1st May, twelve candidates were confirmed in Kilgariffe Union of Parishes.

On Sunday, 15th May the second of two confirmation services in 2022 for Douglas Union took place in St Luke’s Church, Douglas and eighteen people were confirmed. On Sunday, 22nd May a group of nine young people from Mallow Union of Parishes and Fermoy Union of Parishes was confirmed in Christ Church, Fermoy. On Sunday, 29th May six people from Moviddy Union of Parishes were confirmed in St Andrew’s Church, Kilmurry. Lastly, on Pentecost Sunday, 5th July, eight young people from Abbeystrewry Union of Parishes were confirmed in Abbeystrewry Church, Skibbereen.
