Two Trips Away for Cork Church of Ireland Youth: Cape Clear and ‘Summer Madness’

Last weekend (Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July) young people from the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross headed out to Cape Clear for a weekend organised by the leaders of the CDYC (Cork Diocesan Youth Council).

Amy McCrea spoke on the theme of prayer using The Lord`s Prayer as a guide.  The weekend ended with an open air Service on the site of the former Church of Ireland church on ‘Cape’.  Other activities included snorkelling, kite flying, games and walks.  Here are some of the photos:

Earlier this month, at the beginning of July, a large group from the Diocese also attended Summer Madness . It is the largest Christian festival in Ireland and there is plenty for everyone to do: seminars, talks, games, activities and worship.
