Clergy, readers and lay pastoral assistants from Cork, Cloyne and Ross gathered recently in the Church of St Edmund in the scenic setting of Coolkelure, near Dunmanway, County Cork for a Quiet Day recently. The former Bishop of Tuam, Bishop Richard Henderson guided the day with reflections about the Book of Jonah: a parable for our life and times. The day was organised by the parish and its rector, the Reverend Cliff Jeffers, as a thank-offering to the Diocese in this 150the anniversary year of the consecration of Saint Edmund’s Church.
