Cork Diocesan Youth Council Meet To Thank Volunteer

On Saturday evening, 28th March  a supper party took place at the home of Clive and Carolyn Buttimer when current and former members of Cork Diocesan Youth Council (CDYC) gathered to pay tribute to James Fleury for his sterling voluntary work on the Council. James was one of the first members of the Council and acted as its secretary from 2003 to 2014. His skills in administration combined with a love of youth work, and overall a desire to see young people grow in faith, contributed much to the success of the Council in its early years. James and Helen have moved to Naas where James` work as an engineer is based, and Helen can commute to Dublin for  her work in overseas aid.
