Bishop Paul Colton’s tells the Story of Holy Week and Easter using the Stained Glass of Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Cork

Following on from his message to schools and everyone at Christmas, when Bishop Paul Colton told the Christmas story using the stained glass windows of Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Cork – the Bishop has done the same now for Holy Week and Easter.

Using the beautiful windows of Saint Fin Barre’s, where the 150th anniversary of its consecration is being celebrated, Bishop Colton invites us to walk with Jesus and his disciples during these last days of Jesus’ life, and on into the new beginning and joyous celebration of Easter.

The video created by Bishop Colton, with the support and permission of the Representative Church Body Library which holds the photographic images of the windows, has already been sent to all schools in Cork, Cloyne and Ross, and played to the nearly 4000 students and staff before the end of this term.

Bishop Colton says to everyone:

I wish you all a good Holy Week and, when it comes, a joyful celebration of Easter. I warmly invite you to click on the link below and to journey with me through these beautiful windows, yes, but more important, in the steps of Jesus in Holy Week and Easter
